Happy Valentines Day

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Even though I didn't spend this holiday with my sweetheart, my 8 month old son scored a date. I watched my friends daughter who is 3 months older than Nicholas. They play wonderfully together! I am happy that we have many friends around with young children to spend time with.

Nicholas All Around

Sick baby

Well, I feel horrible. What I thought was just teething and a cranky baby turned out to be a double ear infection (ear infection in both ears). Nicholas is now on an antibiotic and will hopefully, with a little tylenol, be sleeping better. I hate our pedatric dept. on base. I called on Monday, they said no appointments available for a couple days, they could send me to urgent care, which is downtown and I am sure the wait would be hours.....urg..... Then on Wednesday he was not wanting to take his bottle, threw up, and had low grade fever. When I called about an appointment, I could get in Thursday morning. I take what I can get and I know if I feel it's really bad to head to the ER. I miss my baby sleeping 11-12 hours at night.

Nicholas at the Fun Spot

January 2009

Andrew on Skype!*** I need to lower the crib height. *** Pulling himself up on everything now!

It sucked having Andrew gone for New Years, but other than that it was a great start to a new year. I spent New Year's Eve with my neighbors/good friends, the Rodgers Family. Rock band and yummy beverages, what a good mix!

Nicholas was 7 months old at the begining of the year, Andrew 23, and me 27. We have a lot to look forward to this year. I am excited for what is to come. Andrew will come home from his first deployment in late February. Andrew's Mom is coming from Ohio for a visit in March. The first week in April, Andrew and I are taking a 2 night/3 day trip to Orcas Island, leaving Nicholas with my parents. Easter weekend will bring family from the west side to our home. Memorial Day weekend in May we will celebrate Nicholas' 1st birthday with family on a camping trip to Hoodsport. July 2-12 we are heading to Ohio to meet my first niece or nephew. And the year will go on. Later in the year your might even hear news of a growing family from our home. ;)

The snow is still on the ground here in Spokane. I can't wait for spring!!!!!!!!!

***Happy New Year***

I really like reading blogs of my friends and family. I think it is a great way to see how everything is going in their lives. My new years resolution this year is to stay current, monthly, with our family blog. I need your help, please. If it seems like it has been too long since my last entry let me know about it. Thanks and Happy New Year. (Yeah I know it's half way through February, but I have been busy! :)
